hi all, just stoppin by to say hi to new friends, my old
friends (eddie & sp) and ask for your trusted opinions.
i am currently working an old piece of property with 3 houses on it. 2 of the houses an apparition has been witnessed on 3 occasions several years apart. he
is described as an old man with long white hair, wearing a long coat and red eyes. the property has indian, slavery (there is a hanging tree withen 100
yards) and civil war history. my question is about the red eyes. what do you think the signifigance of them are? i was thinking they might be connected to
the indian influence of the land. possibly a shaman choosing to show himself with authority or something... oh and both witnesses where children and one of
them talked to him but cant remember what was said. (she's an adult now) she also said that she was not scared of him. thats what confuses me. if its
not threatening or menacing then why the red eyes??? anyway, any help, thoughts & opinions would be greatly appricated!

Hey, Wendy!
You got me on that one! If he was able to talk to someone I would think he has/had the ability to show himself the way he wanted to be seen. Just because a lot of stories about threatening or menacing ghosts had red eyes doesn't mean they all are. When people hear "red eyes" most people assume glowing red eyes. Did they say glowing or just red? I know people where the whites of their eyes have a lot of red in them so they look red from a distance. There is a couple of different reasons why that happens. Do you think this could be what they were talking about? |
